On behalf of all property occupiers Capa advice clients on each revaluation and is presently preparing for 2010.
In addition Capa negotiates further ongoing reductions where there have been physical changes to the property itself or to the surrounding area. For retailer clients Capa negotiates reductions for example where properties have undergone shop re-fits.
Capa work on an incentive fee basis related to the actual saving of rates paid.

Instore
For the 2005 rating revaluation we were instructed by Instore (formerly Poundstretcher) to submit blanket appeals against the new Rateable Values. As a result of negotiations with the Valuation Officer we were able to secure numerous reductions on the RV's.
In the case of Weaverthorpe Retail Park, Bradford we were able to negotiate a reduction in RV of £20,000 due to negotiation on the overall rate and allowances applied. |
